With the increase in obesity across the United States and the world, more and more people are turning to weight loss surgery, or bariatric surgery, to effectively treat their obesity. However, as many, if not all, doctors will tell you, the surgery is simply a tool to help an individual jumpstart their weight loss and live a healthier life.
To truly realize weight loss success and live a healthier and happier life, an individual still needs to make a number of behavioral changes. Without making these behavioral changes, that individual will find themselves regaining the weight or having revision surgeries.
The Kinesis Centre believes that Wellness Begins with Education. We are dedicated to helping bariatric patients by guiding them through the surgical process and helping them make the behavioral changes that will allow them to realize long-lasting weight loss and better health. Our course covers a variety of topics to help loved ones and friends best support the bariatric patient through their journey.
•Bariatric Surgery: Benefits and Challenges
•Bariatric Surgery: What to Expect Before the Surgery
•Bariatric Surgery: What to Expect After the Surgery
•Behavioral Change: Building Habits for a Healtheir Life
